2006 Albariño "Verde," Bodegas Granbazán
(Rías Baixas, Galicia, Spain)
This producer of Albariño is second to none. Dry, fresh, and crisp with floral notes and a stony minerality on the finish.
 
2005 Anjou Blanc "Les Pépinières," Dom. Jo Pithon
(Anjou, Loire Valley, France)
Produced from 100% Chenin Blanc and barrel aged from 12-18 months. Plenty of structure with good delineation to the fruit with notes of ginger and apple pastry on the finish.
 
2008 Gassac Guilhem Blanc, Moulin de Gassac
(Languedoc, France)
A fresh and lively blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Grenache Blanc, and Clairette showing fresh fruit aromas of melon, pear, and a touch of white citrus.
 
2008 Gassac Guilhem Rouge, Moulin de Gassac
(Languedoc, France)
A powerhouse red if ever there was, composed of Syrah, Grenache, Carignan and Cinsault, deep red fruit with a solid earthiness and a light bright cherry red finish.
 
2008 Tempranillo, Bodegas Campos Reales 
(La Mancha, Spain)
Dark ruby-colored with a fruity nose of crushed violets and blackberry, this medium-bodied wine has gobs of juicy, crunchy fruit. It is nicely balanced and has a lengthy finish.
 
2006 Merlot Reserve, Dante
(Oakville, Napa Valley, CA)
Very round and accessible, exhibits good spicy, cherry fruit, medium body, fine concentration, and a soft finish.
